Asharqia Chamber urges its subscribers to register at its electronic portal.

Asharqia Chamber urged its subscribers to activate their accounts in its electronic portal in order to benefit from most of the services available in the portal, which is to keep pace with the electronic transformation of services in the Chamber.

The Chamber is preparing to launch the second phase of the transformation of its services to electronic services, which started in the beginning of the current year. In April, some services will be implemented exclusively through the Chamber's electronic portal such as: the requests for activation of letters of visit issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and invitations.

The Chamber called on its subscribers to keep pace with this development, which provides the subscribers to terminate the transactions of their establishments electronically, and shorten the time and effort through fast and secure electronic services.

The portal includes 34 direct services for the subscribers; 16 main services, and 18 other sub-services.

The most prominent service that would be provided electronically is the authentication and commercial services. The service also allows business representatives to obtain all the services directly electronically so as to shorten the time and effort. For example, the authentication of documents would be certified through high reliability procedures.

The launch of the portal is in line with the state of development witnessed by the Chamber in the provision of services to its subscribers.

1130 companies and institutions registered in the portal in the first month since the Chamber launched its electronic services last January.

The companies that registered in the portal benefited from different services such as printing of documents, activation requests for letters of visit issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, requests for recruitment addressed to the Ministry of Interior, as well as various commercial services provided by the Chamber such as new applications and renewal for its subscribers.

The Chamber has carried out many procedures in order to reach a high level that enables it to provide the service with the required standards. The first is to choose the appropriate programs and applications, and to qualify the manpower to deal with them. It also worked to acquaint the participants with the details and mechanisms of benefiting from the services in order for the process to be complete, transparent, and clear to avoid any obstacles on the electronic side.

"The User Guide for the e-Services Portal" has been issued to inform participants about the mechanism for obtaining the required services. It is available on the official website of the Chamber.
